I'm tired of LGBTQ+ people giving too much credit to authors.

I just feel salty when I see LGBTQ+ videos about some shounen anime about how the author is trying to make it secretly gay or the author is trying to make a gay story but they are scared of homophobes. Which is just bullshit; you are just getting queerbaited, and that's it. AND I'm talking here about a video about Beastars, and that video is called Why Beastars is Gay, and the YouTuber used the same thumbnail that Netflix used to bait people. Anyway, that YouTuber's arguments were really weak; he thought it was gay because wolves are not supposed to be drawn toward bunnies in that universe, so the ML (a male wolf) was attracted to the FL (a female bunny), and that means the wolf is gay. But I'm sorry, what kind of argument is that? If the author wanted to tell a gay story, she just would do that BECAUSE SHE HAD DONE THAT WITH THE VILLAIN OF THE STORY WHERE HE ATE THE GUY THAT HE WAS INTERESTED IN BECAUSE IT WAS ONE-SIDED. The author doesn't need to tell a gay story through a hetero one; this is so fucking stupid, like OMG. Also, one of his arguments was that the ML wore women's clothes, so that means LGBTQ+. I don't understand what the big deal is about that. The most trashy incel harem animes have that, like Date A Live OR Is This a Zombie? Are you saying those anime are gay? Like, I get it; some authors tell a queer story subtly. And I'm not complaining about those. I'm not complaining about something like ORV; what I'm complaining about is stories where it clearly tells a straight story but you make it about something else. Anyway, that video just pissed me off so much. Like, I'm not pissed at people for thinking, Wow, this is gay, or shipping a ship because it's gay, or analyzing LGBTQ+ stuff that is maybe there; what I'm salty about is people giving too much credit to authors/companies that are just there to queerbait. Rather than making videos about queer anime where they are needed to get recognition, you instead waste fucking time analyzing some bullshit on already popular anime.
