Adblocker and YT

I was watching some playthoughs and everything was all good till the next video loaded in and then YT said no and it doesn't work anymore...

Like nothing was working. Even reloading, changing tabs and so on nothing. It was all grey and black Like it was loading but it wasn't. And then i find out with a search that apparently this is the new way YT is fighting adblockers rn... I turned off my adblcok and everything works. Turn it back on, everything is broken again....

Is anyone else having the same problem? Like yt not working, not loading and such? (Mind you I'm using Chrome) This is do dumb... i just want to watch videos without having to watch 3 UNSKIPPABLE ads every 30 seconds (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Same here, i JUST encountered this. Like 30 minutes ago. I will NOT unblock shit tho. Not with their obnoxious ads running ages, being ultra loud, etc.. You can still manually click onto videos. The videos load for me, just NOTHING else. I use Opera GX (it's really good btw) and have just the built-in ad blocker and Popup Blocker (Lite) Version 0....... 1 reply

Get Ublock Origin or Ublock Origin LITE. That's what I use, and I feel like it works the best out of other adblock extensions I've used 1 reply

Youtube has become insufferable tbh there's so many ads now and it's all bec of some mfs who said they became rich through YouTube so now 80% of the population instead of getting jobs just go be an influencer. I mean Youtube of course needs money to pay them but man this is why I'd rather watch tiktok vids since even if an ad comes up you can skip ...... reply

Quick tip what I do go to the lower left where it says like ad or sponser and tap the little dot next to it and press block it usually will allow you to block!! And that’s how you skip it!! reply

Try Firefox and download uBlock Origin. From what I read, uBlock Origin Lite hasn't gotten the update yet. That's why Chromium-based browsers suck. Honestly, I didn't get the pop-up yet. 1 reply
