How I discovered queer stories

I just realized how funny and fucked up how I discovered queer media lmao.

So I was in 7th grade around 11-12 yrs old (I was still so young back then), I had a roomate on my apartment (our high school was like an hour away from our hometown), they are my childhood bestie so we know each other well.

I was pretty innocent and was raised in a conservative Christian family so I didn't really understand queerness, porn and etc. My best friend suddenly asked me "Do you know about yaoi?" She showed me a video of a yaoi hentai and I was flabbergasted but I was drawn to it So me and roomate had a schedule every after class that we would watch and read yaoi stories/hentai before (which was really weird now that I think about it)

Yaoi was my gateway and then I read yuri and I discovered was into both men and women lol.
