Fav character that's been butchered by the author?

This is just my excuse to rant about my fav girl Jericho from Seven deadly sins. My girl is strong willed and a caring person. She wants to prove that she is strong by being a knight and has good morale. She has a crush on this mf who is in love with a thousand years old looking child. Idc if you got spoiled cause it's shitty anyway but those two had a son together and Jericho basically became his teacher/guardian. You know what that mf author did?
