Is it normal to have lonely birthdays lol

Like i have only two people wishing me and putting up stories for me and yes I thanked them etc, one is a guy from class who I barely know who recently hmu and another a friend, I used to have alot of friends back in 10th grade but now I have like none, I kinda feel embarrased, cause everyone i see has so many friends and people wishing them :(

I pretty much have lonely birthdays most of my life. Is a bit more common than you think. Don't feel embarrassed, you have nothing to be embarrassed about. Some people are just alone on a day when they should be celebrated by other people. If it's your birthday, I don't know if this means much coming from a stranger but, happy birthday! people who get lots of birthday wishes are mostly "well acquainted" people or people who have superficial relationships with many. "Lonely" people usually do not feel the need for superficial relationships because it's tiring to maintain--however I feel that what you seek is genuine friendship. My birthday is just like any other day lol. I don't celebrate and nobody really remembers to wish me either. My 21st bday is coming up next month and I have absolutely nothing to do and no friends to celebrate it w. Happy birthday:)) I think it's normal to have lonely birthdays occasionally. Sometimes your life changes and people leave or you move so it happens to everyone there is nothing to be embarrassed about. I do think you should try reaching out more tho if you feel lonely.
