Plot devices/armour u hate

When theyre about to die but the attack takes 1682728 business days to get to them meanwhile a character jumps from antartica to asia and apparently "saves them just in time" somehow I always say they just put it in slow motion for the internal dialogue, emotions and allat..but it gets to a point.   1 reply

I hate the idea of second male/female leads as a plot device. Especially when the main MC’s are already in a relationship, what's the point of that? There's no way you can't think of anything else to cause drama? Not really plot armor but I hate it when a character has a new power or upgrade to their power and then later on, they just...forget it. I hate it sm when a chatacter who's very op gets nerfed for them to die... How did the fuck weak ass MC defeated the villain but the good actual character I liked that's op dies for the plot...
