you have tiny face mites called demodex living rent-free on your skin
There are two types:
demodex folliculorum - lives in your hair follicles (like your eyelashes) and crawls out at night to eat and fuck on your face.
demodex brevis - hides deeper in your sebaceous (oil) glands, where it lives, feeds, reproduces, and dies without ever coming to the surface.
you can’t see them. you can’t feel them.
but they’re always there. (unless there’s too many, then you might feel a little itch and a little burn.) when you feel alone, remember that demodex is always with you
