Is a cheater ML the worst of all?

After reading many manhwas, I just had this thought. For me, cheating is the last straw. Like how I can digest a ml being a murderer but not a cheater (only in manhwa)
So what is the bottom line for you guys? Is it the same? Or are you ok with a cheater ml as long as he gets redemption? Is it something else you draw the line at?

P.S.: this is only pertaining to manhwas and fiction. Not real life.

Honestly, my bottom line is anything to do with CP or underage. You can still justify certain ML’s characters especially if they’re supposed to be a horrible character or it’s specific for the type of plot the story is about, but there is never a reason for why the ML is romantically and sexually into literal children or teens if they’re WA...... reply

i was just thinking about this a while ago too lol. it's just so interesting that people will "forgive" the ml for abuse, rape, etc as long as they have a chase arc but cheating for some reason is unacceptable. i think part of it is because readers tend to project themselves onto the mc/bottom, so it's easy (if not satisfyingly) to see someone grov...... reply
