The feeling of love

Honestly, maybe this is just me, but I can tell when I fall in love. It's a feeling of intense connection to another person, for me. I don't believe there's only one true love for people, but there are multiple people we are each compatible with and, if you're lucky, you'll get that feeling of being destined to be with someone. That's what I hope for: the unconditional love where you compliment each other, enjoy each other's company and living an overall happy life together.
Loving someone and being in love with someone are clearly two different things. For example, you can love someone you've never met or who doesn't like you back because you can connect to them, but it doesn't mean you're in love with them. It's really inexplicable for me, but it's just a different feeling in my experience!
