It's annoying.
I just find it annoying when people refer automatically to BL authors as "she" or "her," since they think if it's a BL author, it's automatically a she. But when he ends up being a man, they act so surprised, like, "Wow, a MAN wrote A BL?????????? HOWWW????????" Like, can you stop thinking like a caveman and start using "they" instead? It's not that hard. Also, why wouldn't a man write a BL??? It's a gay thing; why wouldn't a queer man want to make a BL, heck, or a straight man just happen to love BL and want to contribute to it? "High School Boy made BY A MAN HOW?????????" Are we really acting like that shit is not clearly made by a man? lol, people just make the world look easy and simple. Men like this, and women like this; men read this because of this, and women read this because of this, except people are not all the same thing and don't think the same thing, I thought queer people should know that.
Romance in general, including every type straight, bl and gl is dominated by women. Men typically don’t tend to write romance so people usually automatically assume an author is a woman if they write romance or is always surprised to find out if the author is a man bc like I said women just write romance a lot more compared to men. I don’t thin......
