I am so thankful to yaoi and I’m not even joking

This is actually insane but yaoi literally stopped me from going insane and getting super depressed. Around March/April I was diagnosed with cancer and I was completely isolated for 3-4 months. I didn’t talk to any of my friends because I didn’t want them to know what was going on. The only thing that kept me sane was reading BL. I would literally read BL all day and would only get up to eat food or do PT. I’d secretly read BL while my nurses administered my chemo. I genuinely wouldn’t have survived that era of tears and heartbreaks without yaoi. ITS LITERALLY THE FUNNIEST THING EVER. Id literally be constantly trying to get the nurses to leave just so I could read. Anyways im cancer free rn for like over a month. Safe to say yaoi cured me
