if you are really close to the family offer to get a big item if you can, like the car seat, stroller, bouncer etc. if you cant this is my go to gift: get the onsies, sleepers, socks, mittens and hats in neutral colors and a big pack of scent free wipes. just a little something to fill space in a medium bag. in a card write a cute little note and a......   reply

i've heard this from other parents, who swear it helped and changed their life. it's that container where you put soiled diapers in and it keeps the odor under control until disposal (i think they have one for reuseables too). she would definitely appreciate it! also, you can't go wrong buying books of classic stories, like Guess How Much I Love ......   reply

honestly just give her money and wondering to treat herself. The money she can use for anything she’s realizes that she needs for herself or the baby. And like a promise to babysit so she can go on a date or treat herself   reply
