about illegal reading

For me its two options 1) read it illegally. 2) don't read it at all. I do feel guilty but is not like I can do anything about it, even when I don't like it I still wish there was a way I could support the artist behind them. (And something tells me that same situation for a lot of readers here). I don't feel as bad I when I pirate movies/serie......   reply

So i had this conversation with my So about piracy and how it affects them(authors) and if their outbursts was excusable(i was telling him about this bl author). I quote him " if piracy didnt exist we wouldnt even know about these authors or their work, everyone starts pirating but at the end of the day i will buy their work physically or digitally......   reply

if that artist made something actually peak and not some rape romanticization dogshit i would've been empathetic towards them, but i don't support those who support rapists so yea that person can go and cry alone.   1 reply

idgaf about this specific author. but in general about reading illegally, rather than feeling guilty i pity myself bcz i Really can't support my fav works' authors even if i wanted to. first, i'm literally poor, super broke. second, i live in an islamic arabic country where it's impossible to find any mangas/manhwas in general in bookshops and all,......   reply
