Yeah it's invalid until you actually meet up face to face and integrate the relationship into your real life. Like how does one introduce their partner to family and friends? Pull up a video call? I had 2 online rs and a fling to realize it's bad as shit. don't believe in what internet has told you. the only good ones make up the top 0.0000002% of online relationships. 99% they don't work. if you're in for casual stuff, go for it. if not, just learn to cope with loneliness and adopt a cat   reply

If someone is in a serious online relationship then who am I to tell them they're not. Irl relationships fail all the time too I don't get why online relationships failing proves they're awful and not real. I have a positive view of it only bc it genuinely worked out rlly well for my friends (They even met up and had a vacation tgth and stuff) but like I myself wouldn't get into a serious online relationship bc I can't with long distance :/ But its also my only option if I want a relationship bc I can't get a gf where i live sigh   reply
