For me, fantasy Bl have much more potential than the ones I've seen. More action, and suspance should be shown, but in a way that doesn't revolve only on the romantic part, which I've noticed almost always and predominantly takes over. As someone who has grew bored of bl, I feel like I just need a stupid romantic comedy about side characters. Bc atp insome bl the side characters are more interesting and likeable than the main ones.
