Parents slap the shit put of me when i was a baby

Is it considered abuse if your parents slap the shit out of you everytime you cry when you were a baby yes a baby cuz my shithole of a parents was talking in the dinner table then they randomly brought up the things that they did when i was probs 9months old or smth and i was flabergasted
