No, darling! It's absolutely not wrong! I come from a neighbourhood where same-gender couples were widely looked down upon, but since then I've found a loving Alpha partner (being an Alpha myself) and we've both merged our packs together! We've now moved in to a new town that's a lot more accepting of such things. Don't give up, there's still hope!......
