Losing job

Thank you US government for cutting research funding me and many other people in this field really appreciate it /j

It feels like too many things are happening at once
I got notice today in a meeting my Last day is August 1st pay day(?) still haven’t found a new job over half the lab is getting cut our money is running out ik this was coming but this still fucking sucks I actually liked my job :( I feel extra bad for the post docs interning at our workplace they got worse than me

Career change or should I become a professionally unemployed
