i don't think so. one direction was a product of its time imo. the early 2010s still had something which is largely absent today, which are western tween & teen idols. tween/teen idols are young celebrities who's fanbase is mostly teens. the 2010s had no shortage of them, think selena gomez, justin bieber, taylor swift, demi lovato, and of course 1......
