I'm mostly just starting this topic because I'm bored at work due to a lull in patient flow.
Is anyone else low-key annoyed by the influx of the 'holier-than-thou' type that have been on site lately? I feel like there have been so many people lately who are just so desperate to convince everyone else that they're good people because they don't read certain things. Like... Okay? Do you want a cookie? Like I understand that there /is/ a problem, especially in yaoi/bl, but at the same time, what're you doing about that problem besides trying to prove to others that you're somehow better? You're not making any active change.

I somewhat get that people are mad that works like Jinx are getting recognition even if they are pure slop but it's like adding fuel to the fire by constantly mentioning it lol 1 reply
You can't really say virtue signaling because these type of discussions come about every month and every year. Or whenever a new BL is released. I thought it was poetic irony that jinx and BJ Alex have the same author. It's like people took time to complain about one work and then as soon as that was over they moved on to the next.
