i am GOING CRAZY RIGHT NOW. someone asked me for art commission. it was the first time someone offered me one, so i immediately agree. but i realized late that i have no sketchbook or special papers. i only use the thin bondpapers usually used for class assignments. bro, that's all i have plus my pens and pencils. and what am i gonna do if they asked for the physical copy? i dont have no any idea about this shipping and all. im dead. i dont wanna disappoint my first ever client.
SO ACTUALLY, i refused at first because i am not confident with my skills. i was honest with them. but they assured me not to worry and they will definitely like my art. i felt happy for the trust given to me so i agreed without thinking further. へ(>_<へ)
As a person who does art commissions I think you should keep your material and methods similar to how you usually do it because they already like the work they have seen from you :) I don't think you have to worry about fancy materials if you are still getting into the swing of commissions. I would recommend that after a while of doing work.
