there are actually pretty interesting BL's out there it's just a shame authors loves romanticizing abuser x victim trope. ik some of y'all know NIGHT SONG i really liked the plot and the art? chefs kiss, the author just wasted it by adding unnecessary rape. how about y'all? do u know any stories that u think could've reached the top if it wasn't written to glorify abuser x victim trope?

I dont read bl's as often but this is a HUGE problem in historical romances too and some of the yuri I've read. Its crazy to think how a lot of my top 10 are just too UNRRLATED CONSENTING ADULTS who respect eachother, and like, genuinely love eachother.
