Colors just appear because of how much light it can absorb lol. Objects arent actually permanently the color that you see, its a matter of how much light and wavelength is in the area and what the light is. For example, ocean plants. The deeper you go the more bluish they are coz the wavelength responsible for the red color cant penetrate that deep......
