No Longer Human by Dazai Osamu is good. I have a hard copy of it, and it was the last book author wrote before killing himself so its extra sad. (ngl i only read this book after watching/reading bsd, but its actually rlly good)   2 reply

I’m obsessed with 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. It’s always on my mind! I still can’t get over 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist' by Mohsin Hamid and 'As Long as the Lemon Tree Grows' by Zoulfa Katouh (they are so cute. Look at them. Augh, why must life be so cruel. My babies). Both books were deeply eye-opening. Also, please read 'Qi......   reply

The Hannibal series, easily my favorite. East of Eden by John Steinbeck, he sucks ass at writing women but holy shit did this shatter my insides like a glass dildo. Gone girl was pretty good, your classic unreliable narrator.   reply

The Murderbot Diaries series by Martha Wells. The first book is called All Systems Red. It's scifi and very funny. Also would recommend the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. You don't need to read it in order or anything. My personal favorite is Monstrous Regiment but I think Mort is a decent starting point to get to know the world.   reply
