Toxic yaoi/yuri and or dark romance can exist without rape

I don't understand why ppl excuse rape cus it's a "dark/toxic romance" when honestly dark romance isn't about getting abused to loving someone... Like that's just abuse and not one ounce of romance. Girl got hurt so much to the point they just gave up. That's NOT ROMANCE. Dark romance Is just like these two could be insane and killing other ppl who like their s/o like a yandere or being actually enemies and trying to kill one another but eventually end up falling in love. I got other examples but I would like others to talk abt it.

These ppl also have the audacity to call straight up pedophilia "Forbidden romance" as well, that's just not forbidden that's illegal and disgusting. I don't get why just cus it's a dark romance, suddenly abuse and rape is okay.
