Why do I feel a lot better when I stopped lifting? I felt bloated, weak and dreaded my gym sessions when I was regularly training with a lotta weights. Ditched gym for regular 5 km runs, calisthenics and yoga and I look and feel a lot better.   1 reply

You just reminded me how I haven't been able to go the the gym in the past days and I could already feel my progress reversing but if it makes you feel better I can barely do 15lb I have poor strength I'm better of doing cardio since I at least have good stamina ( I think) ╥﹏╥   1 reply

Ik people who go to the gym every single day to lift and they try to get me to go but what keeps you going after, I don’t get the hype! since I feel like I’m torturing myself when they drag me to those exercising classes at the gym but lifting specifically is it the progress built muscle ? goals, runners high type thing ??
