People seem to conflate the two; just because they like BL doesn't mean they are pro-LGBTQ+ or care about LGBTQ+. A lot of people I know, especially Muslim women, like BL but hate gay people and think it is haram, or a sin. They just read BL for their pleasure and objectify queer men, and that is it. like how there are a lot of straight homophobic ......
