Yes there is nuance between Gangrape vs rape.
I dropped pearl boy and missing love after a few chapters, I usually love dark themes but those manhwas are just one graphic sensationalized gangrape scenes after the other. It made me physically sick. Even reading something like ourobouros (with individual rape) that is well written, took courage but the writer treated the subject matter sensitively and resolved it more realistically.
And yes, there is nuance in victim experience of rape vs gangrape, and those who use that argument that rape is rape, no matter how many offenders involved, are full of shit and want or justify their paraphilias. There are legitimate studies on this subject matter, as opposed to individual rape, gangrape is characterised by more violence, less victim resistance, and more severe sexual assault outcomes. After gangrape victims report the assault, they recieve much more backlash and negative responses as compared to victims of individual rape. Look it up.

I felt so oblivious, Thank youu for spreading awareness-- I had never thought that victims of gangrape would be treated more negatively than victims of individual rape. We need more people talking about hard topics so we can be more aware and understanding ┗( T﹏T )┛
