do u treat internet friendships seriously?

The long term online friends I have can be counted in one hand, and the short term ones can't even be counted if all of my fingers and toes were combined. absolutely, internet friends can be more 'real' friends than irl friends sometimes! plus internet friends can become irl friends (or more?!) in my experience that can be fun!   reply

Yes, I like alot of my online friends actually, they're more real sometimes than my irl friends. My irl friends ain't even there when I have depression lol istg it's so weird opening up to them.   reply

It's really just depends. If you connect with each other enough there will might be a day where you'll be able to meet in real life. It definitely can blossom into something precious. While sometimes you and your internet friend is just talking normally not close enough to take it seriously.   reply

Depends. I do like to maintain relationships, but if I feel there's no real interest then I normally dont keep up with it. Like on this site, I'll message some ppl and engage on forms, but no one has shown interest in genuinely being friends, so I leave it alone (which is probably for the best here lmao). I used to have group chat with three others(all from wattpad). We would text about the mundanest of things, about our feelings, how school was going and work. Though we fell off after covid. Between the eldest of us going to college, some moving dealing with the California wildfires and etc we all just drifted.   reply
