mangagooners i need opinion

i have a friend lets call him Z. Z is very depress person, but he doesnt like to talk abt why hes depress. and me INNOCENT dont know what to do because i dont even know how to confort myself, however we have project and its 20% of our final points and so Z and I need to pass this project before our deadline which is 3 days from now. (we are both working in this project for 2 weeks)

Z said he couldnt do his part because hes depress and so im stuck doing this project alone that HE SAID he will do the HALF of it withing A WEEK. NOW i ONLY HAVE 3 DAYS TO DO HALF THE WORK!! IM SO ANGRY AT HIM BECAUSE HE COULD HAVE SAID IT A WEEK BEFORE!! but i cant because they said i shouldnt be angry to those depressed people because their brain is fogged BUT I WILL BE THE ONE NOT GETTING THAT 20%

could you maybe talk to Z about whether they'd be comfortable with you bringing it up with your professor or whoever abt extending the deadline/grading you individually? If they're your friend I'd hope they'd be understanding about how this can impact you negatively as well to do all the work by yourself + help them to seek some support maybe if it...... reply
