how to read manga in college without roommate (whos probably homophobic) finding out?
so i'm moving into my dorm for college soon and im kinda scared cus im a gay guy and my roommate is like a stereotypical dudebro. do you guys know how to hide your interests or do yall just not gaf?
I don't think he's going to question what you're doing if you don't look suspicious, plus it isn't any of his business anyways lmao.
Low brightness, incognito mode, and fast reflexes so you can switch tabs will do the trick for you, plus holding your phone in a way that hides your screen. reply
tbh if it is a really big deal for you or if you think that you might be in danger then you might want to find a way to change roommates completely. Trust me, it might feel like a big hustle rn but later down the line it will be better for you if you wont have to hide your interests or who you are in general. good luck! reply
keep your brightness low or make sure you read with your back facing the wall (no window and especially no mirror behind you). just in case, only read yaoi in your room. you can read read less risky genres anywhere else.
if he's asking what you're doing, just tell him you're reading manga to check the water. omits the genre. if he happens to read ...... reply
Well i try to hide some things, but im bad at it so all is revealed eventually
Id say get a privacy screen, use incognito and when youre not actively using a website/reading etc put it in a normal google tab, even if you leave it for 1 minute. ooorrr you can download/use a seperate browser (like duckduckgo idk)
Dont download images of your interest...... reply
