It depends how the author chooses to write the story but alpha x alpha in some stories can still have children like Smyrna & Capri! Same thing with alpha x beta it all depends on how the author chooses to write it but I don’t think your opinion is so uncommon. I think a lot of people prefer alpha x omega and traditional pairings more.   1 reply

As a lover of nontraditional omegaverse couples, I like the additional angst that comes from the whole soulmate/bonded pair conflict. I like the concept of fighting not only societal standards but also biology and "destiny".   reply

Alpha x alpha is acceptable only if the uke alpha becomes pregnant, or turns into omega because of the dominant alpha seme pheromones. Also alpha x alpha is only intersting if the smut is crazy good.   reply

Same, I don't typically like other pairings unless the story is rlly good because most of the time the just follow the same pattern, Beta x Alpha: "He'll be better off with an omega that can have a family with him.. Hmm, not a fan of omegaverss, but like i prefer alphaxalpha nd omegaxomega ones over regular ones , cus i feel its a story about lovers fighting society norms nd even destiny itself Like its set om stone for an omega to end up with an alpha but you still end up falling for someones ur not supposed to fall for And if you think of pheromones as a me......   reply

I haven't read that much ABO but both conventional and unconventional pairings can give a good romance in my opinion Being bonded to one another by fate VS Going against all conventions for love. Both good but everyone has their preference.   reply
