i dislike this trope

its in A LOT of chinese manhuas and webnovels, that "my-man-is-such-a-sweetheart-i-dont-get-why-everyone-says-hes-scary~" type of couple, is it just a minority of people who dislike it, cause when i see the comments everyone eats it up, like really ????? the fl is always portrayed as strong and cool, but she becomes a ditzy love idiot when her man is with her, her IQ literally DROPS when he's in the room ; mls are also trash, evil fuckers with everyone but their 'little angel', like at least be a decent person ??!! i read one where the ml threatens to GANGRAPE the villainess if she doesn't leave the fl alone, and mind you SHE'S PREGNANT WHEN THAT HAPPENS

Yeah i’m going to be honest most Chinese straight manhuas are trash. Idk why but the ml is either a complete asshole or a full on rapist no matter the trope. There’s very few that are actually good like “Only for Love” and few others. reply
