All of the activities of my courses rn are done in groups. I HATE group assignments but I've gotten good at navigating them. Ive had too many profs assign them as FINALS FOR WHATEVER REASON so here's my go to: 1) make a group chat and consistently stay on top of the members and explain what each one needs to do.
