Listen to them if they ever talk to you, give them the most basic answers, what they may expect to hear. After a while, add an "opinion", a common one so they can feel related to. Laugh a little if they do. Dont talk about yourself until they ask you to (Ik it sounds bad, but it is just at the start). Eventually, if the mood is right: talk more, so......
