but for normal, non mentally ill ppl if u wanna relieve stress fast u can, go for a job, jerk it or take a warm shower

You should probably first find out where and at what time you can focus/ concentrate the most. Don't try to start when you already know your just gonna do everything in your power to avoid working on it. It just makes a 1 hour stretch out in 2-3 hours (if your tight on time). But if your type of person can't finish stuff without a bit of distractio...... reply
what works for me is that i FORCE myself to start doing it, w music (music that matches the activity, like classical for studying, upbeat for working out, something to sing-along to for household chores).... and if i start getting unmotivated along the way, i just legit trash talk myself. but if im almost done i just tell myself to finish it coz im...... reply
i usually just lay on the bed and fuck around on my phone, feeling uneasy until i realize i've got chores i haven't done. i then go back to fucking around feeling even MORE uneasy, telling myself over and over again "it's gonna be done somehow" as if someone other than me's gonna do it?? honestly my body just moves when it decides that it was gonna...... reply
