Opinions on the tsundere trope?

Personally “Hell yeah, good shit”

But I noticed the tag of “tsundere” isn’t that popular, it’s more used for older series

Is the term still relevant? Do you like the trope? Also what in your opinion makes a good tsunderr? Or what character is your favorite tsundere?

Also is this question an opening to discussion or just me disguising my search for good reccs, or both? You’ll never know

tsundere character is the most peak dere type and no one can tell me otherwise, ig the term "-dere" is not as popular anymore, but the "nonchalant" act is def a tsundere in this time of day on god reply

When its done right I do like the trope sometimes. But yeah personally I found the older series tsundere’s absolutely insufferable back then. It was mainly a coverup for verbally and often times physically abusive behavior that wasn’t cute or endearing that they tried to pass off as slap-stick humor. Don’t fw it. Never have probably never will. I can’t stand people that say one thing, act another, but in reality mean something completely different than both. I hate it, it’s glorified emotional abuse. I don’t think you love somebody if you constantly insult them and keep hurting them. I’m not talking about the type where the physical abuse is involved, that’s pretty extreme. Anyways, read Lord of Mysteries reply
