I don’t like them, I think for someone who claims to have been in this community for 11 years (she’s 20) she has some pretty bad takes.
One of the first videos I saw was her asking if people actually ‘goon’ to yaoi and saying she’s not judging, but in the comments she was completely biased in her replies. When I made a comment towards her explaining this topic has been around forever and why I think it’s okay, she deleted it. Yeah, it’s her video, she can do what she wants, but you can’t start a debate and then delete my argument.
I just want a second opinion on this, because obviously the people in her comments are fans and are gonna be biased. I just don’t wanna feel crazy
It's dumb bc smut is smut for a reason lol. Yaoi ain't got shit to do with it. But it's sometimes written off as being something odd, which is wild bc people don't criticize straight smut in the same way. It's just homosexuality being seen as purely a fetish for weirdos, and not a real life orientation.
