Well... to be fair Love for Sale was like forbidden fruit. It got swiped clean from every site when it was less than 20 chapters long so their popularity when down bc most people didnt went and buy it
That being said, jinx is a unique manhwa, it quite literally filter into the radar of people who dont even consumed webcomics and asian media. Is not surprising it has content on ao3
I'm so sad abt how LFS got cleared so soon because I swear it'd be so popular if people got to read continuously up until Si-eon reciprocates and see how healthy + cute they were I'm a bit confused about what U mean with jinx filtering into the radar and it being unique, apart from the sport theme it follows a very generic BL formula imo
I agree with LFS, honestly I hated Sieon at first but he ended up being such a good character is a shame the story lost recognition
Now abt jinx, I didnt mean the story is unique, Jinx as a comic is unique bc its massive reach into the public. when it got popular people that never even heard of the word "manhwa" were reading it. Is wasnt just the anime/manga community, it was random grandmas getting caught by their grandkids reading it at dinner
Jinx reached waaaaay outside of its target audience and people who barely know one piece are making jokes abt Jk being a horse
Therefore: more public saw it ---> more readers ---> way more fandom content
Yh if I'm gonna be serious, Ur completely right it makes sense that sth popular gets lots of fic, my frustration is more why actually good romances don't get popular so then I end up with no fics to read I'm kinda just throwing a tantrum LOL
