I'm curious because does mysgony like women hate (I can't spell) still exist in omegaverse?? Like cus imagine being a woman and an omega.... That's like double hell. Just thought of this cus would alpha women get praised or hated? Most omegaverse I've seen is just all men.

ABO pushes the conversation of misogyny in the form of reproductive oppression with gender (alpha, beta, omega) determining hierarchy, rather than sex (male/female).
So as other commenters have said, Omegas are read as female because the parallel they have to irl female roles in reproduction (ovulation/estrus/incubation).

So no, alpha women dont get hated. And actually, female omegas usually get treated better than male omegas but is mainly bc ABO is usually gay men only so they shift all the hate onto the male omegas bc it doesnt add anything to shift it to the females
From what I’ve seen, alphas, regardless of gender, are usually desired and preferred. And in the rare few manga that give us even a glimpse into female omegas, they seem to be treated better than male omegas. In more “traditional” ABO settings, male omegas are often considered rare or unusual, which explains the different treatment. (At least that's what Kiraide Isasete taught me.)
So yeah, while Omegas still get the L in life no matter what, Male omegas got it harder ╮(￣▽￣)╭
