What are your thoughts or opinion on kids transitioning?

With therapy and doctor consultation, I think trans kids should be allowed to transition for their mental health; it's not like they will do surgery or something. They will just wear clothes that align with their gender and change the name. I really don't see the harm in that. I'm lesbian and I agree with that other comment a little. I think children toddler age to like preteenager years (like 12 or 13), should only transition socially. Absolutely without medical interventions. Teens should be able to transition socially and also take puberty /hormone blockers (after being examined by a psychiatrist or seeing a therapist......   reply

I'm assuming surgery, because idgaf if my kid wants to wear skirts or pants. Please read that first sentence again, because ik you guys can't read. Do you let kids drink alcohol when they really, really want to? Or drive? Or... literally any medical procedure? Plastic surgery? We don't even let kids smoke. If you're talking about surgery, then I'd give them more time to think before that. Since most ppl change everytime as they're still trying to find themselves, when I was a kid I wanted to be a girl (mtf) but I grew up and now I just am comfortable with my gender and doing drag queen act whenever I feel like it.
