I'll be honest chief, it depends on the company BUT it could have massive ramifications for you. I recommend you don't lie, but if you do you can run into 2 problems: 1. tbh it dont really matter anymore bc every application (from what i've seen) has gone though an ai system that just automatically filters out people even if they are really qualified for the job but i think that if u do get interviewed they do a background check using ur name and contact details to see if you've done anything bad through another pr......   1 reply

Ngl, I didn't add the numbers of references, cold sent CVs and still got the job. Just don't exaggerate too much. You need a seed of truth, don't just straight up lie.   reply

You can lie about your work experience ( like even if you dont know Tableau/ SQL you can lie on your resume or about the responsibilities you never had)... But you have to know about the things you are writing on your resume because even if you passed the screening round, it'll tough for you to crack the next rounds.. Honestly depends on what youre lying abt.
