dropped a problematic person

sorry a vent its just i had a friend , we have the same person we hate but i dont like that theyre wishing death upon them and or they do these all sort of harmful petty things. I dropped them after i saw them doxx this person like yeah... she tried to steal your crush she knew you liked and she didnt do anything at all in our research thesis but damn? Im not gonna agree with you telling to "off" herself while she posted about struggling with mental health?? she WAS someone i used to care about and im betrayed yes but you're becoming abit of a bad person more than she was. Stop like being so petty and attacking and lets just move on. I said that to them and they said i was "taking sides" i wasnt, i just think their actions were wrong and was going too far. That they've been problematic lately. Anyways yeah i had to drop them. i cried lol. As much as i stop being friends with alot of ppl, my care doesnt vanish even if they done me wrong cus i know some of them can change for the better but i dont condone shit stuff like this cus im fine with shit talk sometimes but wishing death and cyberbullying them isnt a good "revenge" either. It just doesnt make you better than the other person.
