So, very corny answer, but, you have to accept yourself more than anyone else can accept you, does that make sense? I have severe scoliosis, sometimes I can't stand up for long periods of time because my back cannot even handle the weight of my own body, for some people, and I say this bc I've heard people say it, taking care of their disabled part......   reply

People who love you shouldn't care if you have a disability. Honestly. However, I do think that a lot are more realistic and the question really is, 'do I have to spend my life taking care of this person?' because even if you are self-sufficient, most people will still be concerned about this + public stigma. People who takes someone off their team cus they're disabled is wild to me, honestly that's just heartless. I'm deaf and my bf and I are doing okay somehow still being able to communicate with sign language.   reply
