Yuri is getting boring...
Please don’t cancel me, y’all... I was just ragebaiting. Did it work?
Anyway, I’ve read basically every decent yuri manga, manhwa, and manhua out there, and I’m convinced there’s nothing left. Most new releases are pure slop (except you, 'Fatale Game', 'Anata Mitai ni', and 'Ano Ko Futari De', you’re doing amazing). But I’m desperate for yuri. Like, really desperate. So I’m moving on to novels. Problem is, I haven’t read any in ages and I feel too lazy to pick one up.
So... has anyone read any great lesbian novels? If yes, rant about them as much as you want. I want to see the hype and get convinced. (Yes, I know this is a manga site, don’t come at me. But I’ve noticed quite a few of you read novels too, so here I am.)
Go wild. I don’t mind paragraphs. Just sell me on your favorite novel. Oh, and if you’ve got any obscure yuri manga/manhwa/manhua recs, drop them too. Maybe I’ll find something new.
'The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo' is pretty good. I am too lazy to write paragraphs so here's some fanarts and aesthetics instead. And I hope they are convincing enough.

Okay girl, listen. I’m about to go full TedTalk mode on why you need to read one of my all-time favorite GL novels, “She is the Protagonist.” Strap in. (This is just a copy paste of the rant I sent my friends to convince them last month, lol)
So, the setup: modern day. Our FL dies and transmigrates after being forced by this shady “system......

Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. It's gothic, It's set in Victorian era so all those posh gorgeous characters are a given. And it's an atmospheric, and plot-heavy thriller. What more can you want.

"Last night at the telegraph club" is my favorite! It's a historical lesbian romance novel that takes place in San Francisco during the tail end of the red scare. The main character is a Chinese American teen navigating rising racial tensions as Mccarthyism threatens her community, all while developing feelings for a girl in her math class who take......

Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me is a graphic novel (and not slop) so that's a perfect pick if you're too lazy for a novel. Otherwise, Gideon the 9th is litty !! It's a fantasy novel series with necromancers and swordfighting.
