There's no "bad" food, you need the foods you binge on in some sort of way and it doesn't always have to benefit your physical health. Stopping yourself from eating certain foods will only result in binging later and guilt, so just let yourself eat what you want in moderation. Used to be me. Best way is to just eat a normal amount. You’re likely binging because you’re starving yourself and the only way to counteract that is by not dieting for a while. I had to stop dieting for 6 months before I was fully healed and could be in a calorie deficit again.   1 reply

I think it's not as helpful for me to say something like 'oh, not all foods are bad' because it's not really you don't know, it's that you feel inherently guilty over it. I think something that would help would be to try and maybe make a food plan? Like, map out how much 'good' stuff and how much 'bad' stuff you are eating. That way, even if you ......   2 reply
