lying here in my bed scrolling on tik Tok per usual looking at cute outfit videos, anime edits ,fellow gooners, uk allat and I posted a couple videos per usual because I love treating all my social media platforms as just casual blogs where I post what want cuz I just feel like it. thats just how I personally like to do it. And over the past few months shi has been bothering me a lil.
because of what social media has turned into these days something about it isn't as fun like sure I'm happy there is more variety in a way and better edits and everything's more relatable because lots of people are sharing their thoughts more, but something about it feels frustrating - and this could just be in my overthinking head- but it feels competitive? mabey theres a different word to describe that? theres so many new categories and it feels so repetitive. before it just used to be aesthetics now everyone's throwing around the words performative and niche. i think these words have been getting to me more because I think of them as bad things now because of how people online are using them. I actually barley every heard these words in real life and mabey I have some sort of individuality complex but yes I do want to be different in the sense that I stay true to me and do whatever feel is the most me and if that comes off as different then so be it but then I think im trying too hard and I know im not but, shove a fat dildo up my ahh.
theres so much going on that I'm just starting to not feel as much excitement as I used to (MINUS MY EDITS AND GOONERS) especially since the 2020-2022 eras then everything felt so authentic and fun uk what I mean?

My advice is to focus on your other hobbies. To me it looks like you’re too fixated on social media
i think it's just another activity we're turning into a skill. Like what we did with singing or dancing or making art. They can't just be normal human activities everything has to be monetizable and complete. We can't just do shit for fun without people trying to make it about skill, fame or money. The whole internets doing that that's why i really like mgg. sure i say things with the intention of making people laugh but i will never get any fame or money from mgg and thats nice. gooner supremacy (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
