the most influential anime to me is haikyuu. art, storytelling, execution, impact--10/10s across the board. it's not just a sports anime where a bunch of teenage boys kick a ball around hoping to win nationals. the story isn't even about WINNING. most of the cast don't become professional volleyball players after high school. but that's not failure......
