But like you can always say things like ‘I’m so glad I met you’ ‘I’m so lucky to have you in my life/ lucky to have you as a friend’ ‘your so great’ ‘your important to me’. showing appreciation for things they do is pretty average, like thanking them for calling you out of the blue or supporting you in xyz or making you laugh on a hard day;; but also tons of ppl just say i love you or call them a best friend/sibling   reply

Am I weird, but I don't want my friends doing this nor do I need them to. If a friend sent me something like this, I'd think they were guilty and were doing something to harm me in the background.
