OG fujos - how did bl change over the years?

Im fairly new to bl (i started reading last year december) since my friend wanted to show me some stories and see if I’d like them. I asked her how long had she’d been into bl and said since she was in grade school. crazy i know.

im only asking this question on mangago since i want to hear about what bl used to be like and how it possibly changed over the past years especially since the pandemic.

How has bl changed and how has it stayed the same?

ive been reading bl since 2016, also using mangago since then too (only made an account in 2020 lol), and ive noticed a few changes over the years. - using the word "yaoi" is not frowned upon on mainstream media anymore. this is a recent development probably just in the last year or so. there was a big stigma about saying yaoi in fears of being br...... 1 reply
